The whole year meeting

To Every Cadets,

Tomorrow morning 25 April 2015 by 9am till 11am, please attend the meeting tomorrow at the usual place.

The pegawai came and taught us about first aid and the treatment when someone has broken his arm or when someone is injured.

When someone has broken his arm,we should stop the bleeding and use some clean clothes to wrap the injured arm.

That’s all for this meeting.

Almost all the cadets were present at the combined camp held on Saturday at Chung Ling High School.

First,we registered with our president,Ooi Kelyn and got our combined camp t-shirt.Later,the camp started with event–‘ice breaking’.

At the same time,the marching competition started.Guess what,we were the first team to compete in the competition! How ‘lucky’ we were! Anyway,we managed to give it our best shot in the marching competition,especially our commander,Deborah.Here is a picture of us marching:

After the marching competition,we had our lunch and prepared for the station games.

As the saying goes,’a picture paints a thousand words’.Let’s see the pictures!

And two of our members managed to get first prize in the station games.

That’s all for the super-fun combined camp 2014 !

It’s mainly about the pegawai came and taught us about ‘how to make knots’ and the function of each knot.For instance, over-hand knot,fisherman knot,figure-of-eight knot and many more.Actually,the pegawai taught us all the knots before,but we forgot all about it.

After that,we managed to pass the quiz given by the pegawai.Hooray!!!

That’s all for our seventh meeting.

The officers came and taught us about ‘ sains kebakaran’ and ‘how to save yourself in a fire’.Later,they tested us on those two.

They also taught us to march correctly.After that,the meeting was dismissed.

This meeting is mainly about our visit to Balai Bomba Bagan Jermal.

About 9am,the officer there taught us the signal to open and to close the water hose plus the three components that can be found at a fire hydrant.The three components are false spindle,hydrant adaptor and hydrant key and bar.

Later,they taught us the correct ways of marching.They also taught us the correct way to roll the water hose and how to keep it nicely and correctly.

Also,they showed us the things that can be found in a fire truck.For example,the cutters,false spindles,hydrant adaptors and many more.They even gave us a ride with the siren on, cool right?

Finally,they tested us all the things that they have taught us.They was amazed when we could answer their questions correctly.Ha ha!

After that, the meeting was dismissed.
