Tuan Hashim taught us four types of knots:
1. Reef knot
This is an easy to tie knot by joining two same-size ropes together that is good for securing non-critical items.It should not be trusted to join two ropes together to hold something that absolutely has to stay put.
2. Over-hand knot
This is probably the simplest knot of all and it is used to stop the end of the rope going through eye.
3. Figure of eight knot
This knot is one of the strongest knot and it is used to symbolise that the rope is almost finished.
4. Double figure eight knot
This knot is almost same as figure of eight knot and it is also one of the strongest knot.
Besides teaching us knots,he also taught us marching.We have learnt a lot about the proper way of marching.

About 9am,the officer reached our school.The officer’s name is Tuan Hashim. He told us about the fire department under the government.
In 1976 the first pasukan bomba Malaysia is founded.That time,they only chose 15 firemen into the team.Our officer Tuan Hashim joined the team in 1978.He worked as a firefighter from 1978 until today, about 36 years.
Then he told us about the four types of fire extinguisher.
Those are debu kering,air,buih and karbon dioksida. The powder in the cylinder itself was about 9 kg and the whole thing was about 13kg.He also showed us how to handle and to carry it.
Tuan Hashim was so funny and friendly.He tested us on what he had taught us  afterwards.
After that,we carried out gotong-royong. About 11 am,the meeting is dismissed.
