Tuan Hashim taught us four types of knots:

1. Reef knot

This is an easy to tie knot by joining two same-size ropes together that is good for securing non-critical items.It should not be trusted to join two ropes together to hold something that absolutely has to stay put.

2. Over-hand knot

This is probably the simplest knot of all and it is used to stop the end of the rope going through eye.

3. Figure of eight knot

This knot is one of the strongest knot and it is used to symbolise that the rope is almost finished.

4. Double figure eight knot

This knot is almost same as figure of eight knot and it is also one of the strongest knot.

Besides teaching us knots,he also taught us marching.We have learnt a lot about the proper way of marching.
